Patrick Morton, CEO

Patrick Morton is the co-founder of Cannabis Invest UK, which hosts the largest professional cannabis investment conference in the UK and Europe, having featured $50 billion of presenting companies. Prior to joining the cannabis industry in 2017, Patrick spent 13 years in the capital markets industry, primarily as an equity research analyst on top-ranked teams with RBC Capital Markets and the Macquarie Group. Patrick is a CFA Charter holder and holds a BComm from McGill University.

Navdeep Dhaliwal, Chairman

Navdeep Dhaliwal is the CEO and a Director of The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc. Mr. Dhaliwal is also a Director of Medigrow Lesotho, a Licensed Producer in the Kingdom of Lesotho. Mr. Dhaliwal was previously the Principal of NLX Capital Corp., a Canadian merchant bank and venture investment firm, and Vice President of corporate development for Novalux Energy Corporation. Mr. Dhaliwal began his career with KPMG LLP, where he specialized in financial institutions and real estate.

 

Barinder S. Bhullar, Director

Barinder Bhullar is the Vice President, International Affairs and Stakeholder Relations at the Supreme Cannabis where he leads domestic and international government relations and guides Supreme Cannabis’ global market strategy for medical cannabis. He has served in a variety of senior roles within government, including as the Director of Policy for the Premier of British Columbia, where he worked to ensure those specific policy developments aligned with the broader objectives of the government.

Peter Cunningham, Senior Advisor

Peter has been involved in more than USD $100 million in financings for projects spanning multiple industries. Peter has advised over a dozen gopublic transactions during his career, including G-TEC (TSXV: GTEC), Khiron Life Sciences Corp. (TSX:KHRN), High Hampton Holdings Corp (CNSX: HC); and BeWhere (TSXV: BEW) amongst others. Peter has over 10 years of experience in the capital markets and is a sought-after corporate advisor and investor.

Steve Chan, Director

Steve Chan is the Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary, at the Supreme Cannabis where he focuses on activities that require cross-functional expertise including strategy, corporate development, strategic relationships, and corporate governance. Prior to joining the cannabis industry, for more than a decade, Mr. Chan served as a trusted advisor to boards and executives in the US, Canada and the UK on a broad range of strategic performance, shareholder and governance matters.

Nick Davis, Director

Nick Davis is the Chief Executive Officer of Memery Crystal, one of the UK’s leading law firms in specialist areas, regularly cited in Chambers UK and The Legal 500, and a market leader in the UK cannabis sector. Nick specializes in corporate finance with expertise in flotations, equity capital markets and mergers & acquisitions. Nick advises on public company listings on both the Main Market and AIM and has extensive experience acting for other issuers, NOMAD/brokers and sponsors.
